I’m a personal trainer here in Newman, and if you’re reading this, you’re probably on a journey to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in your body. I get it because I’ve been there.

My Story:

Just Wanting to Be"Good Enough"

If you’ve ever felt stuck chasing a perfect image or frustrated with your body, I’ve been exactly where you are. At 15, I just wanted to be skinny. I thought being smaller was the answer to feeling good about myself, so I overtrained, underate, and fell into binge eating at night. I was constantly body-checking, obsessing over diets like shakes, low-carb plans, and cleanses. Between 15 and 17, my life revolved around guilt, anxiety, and feeling like I was never good enough.

Even when I hit certain milestones—like wearing a bikini at 21, which felt like a huge step at the time—it still didn’t feel right. I realised that losing weight alone wasn’t going to fix the real issue. I needed to stop punishing my body and start building a better relationship with it.

How I Flipped the Script

At 22, I started working with a coach who completely changed the game for me. Instead of focusing on the number on the scale, I started focusing on what my body could do—how strong it could become. I stopped obsessing over how I looked and started caring about how I felt. It was a huge shift from thinking “How can I get smaller?” to “How can I get stronger?”

Now, at 25, I’m training for a bodybuilding competition in April 2025, but not for validation—it’s a personal challenge to see how far I can push myself mentally and physically.

My mission is to guide women—like you—through those struggles with body image, food, and self-worth.
